What we are looking for
  • Track sales and business performance results of the gas and power B2B business
  • Define and measure metrics and KPI dashboards & scorecards to measure sales performance against strategic and operational goals
  • Analyse trends in the power and gas wholesale market and in the sale pipeline, and elevate analysis to management in a timely manner
  • Extract data from CRM and enterprise data warehouse for analysis using Excel, Python, SQL, PowerBI and visual analytics tools
  • Develop data-based steering recommendations for the power and gas sales business
  • Enable the organization with predictive and prescriptive analytics, ad-hoc reports, and analysis on sales figures, hit rates and other metrics
  • Be a thought leader on advancing sales intelligence capabilities through analytics techniques and models
  • Support forecasting process by improving and automating data collection and forecast accuracy measures
  • Drive value creation initiatives and provide insights to the business
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the sales business
  • Convey insights and recommendations up to top management level in a compelling manner
  • Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders and project teams to improve processes, systems and data
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, trading, marketing, product and finance leaders and teams
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the business

Who we are seeking

  • University degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline such as mathematics, statistics, operations research, science, engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the energy wholesale business or finance area
  • Very good understanding of the gas and power commodity markets and the value chain
  • Expert knowledge in relevant modelling and analytics techniques
  • Advanced skills in using analytical software and IT tools
  • Creative commercially oriented mind-set
  • Analytical, structured, and self-driven
  • Strong and convincing communicator
  • Project management and coordination skills
  • Good German and English skills required
