As a (Junior) Manager Governance, Risk & Compliance you will be part of the GRC team, supporting the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of our Internal Controls and Risk Management System across Westwing Group. In this role, you will closely collaborate with all main business and finance leaders in all countries (some project-related travel involved) as well as our internal and external auditors and bring our processes and governance systems to the next level. This position is located in Munich and is unlimited.

WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • support the team in developing and enhancing the group wide Internal Control System covering all main financial and operational processes, and performing the annual testing
  • analyze processes, identify risks and design adequate controls and process improvements together with the business teams
  • maintain our internal control tool including workflow update and user training
  • support the regular Risk Management update process, improve tools and raise awareness of key risks and mitigation measures in the organization
  • support the implementation of compliance projects such as policy management, business partner screening and anti-money laundering programs

YOU COME WITH
  • minimum 2-3 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Controls or Internal Audit position, preferably in one of the leading Big4 companies
  • a degree in economics, business administration or similar; ideally with a major in Finance/Controlling and outstanding academic credentials
  • excellent process understanding and solid background in accounting (especially IFRS); IT affinity would be a plus
  • strong skills in MS Excel (advanced formulas, experience with pivot tables) and PowerPoint; experience with EasyGRC or other GRC tools is a plus
  • strong analytical skills, high level of proactiveness, strong organization, planning and communication skills
  • fluency in English; German would be an advantage
