Job Description: Senior Marketing Manager Germany Key Responsibility: Lead the execution of country marketing plan to achieve local business goals. Lead the Country Marketing Team in Germany and be part of THV LT in Germany
Lead and develop a team of marketing associates
Drive the implementation of new product and indication launches and ensure strong launch execution
Working independently without close supervision
Evaluate local needs of the commercial and clinical teams in alignment with the marketing plan, including delivering field training, marketing campaigns, and clinical mar keting activities
Maintain contact with local KOLs and develop high quality relations with other healthcare professionals, develop the German event strategy, incl. congress presentation, symposia, national and regional meetings for various clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Develop meaningful programs, conduct speaker briefings, and measure success of scientific symposia and events. Estimated travel requirement: 30-40%, including occasional multi-day trips.
Lead the implementation of assigned Therapy Development initiatives and TAVI pathway optimization programs
Lead the creation of localized marketing materials
Assess market dynamics and analytics (e.g, market size and trends, competitive situation, reimbursement) in close collaboration with Business Analyst in the country Qualifications: Education level field of study with 8 years of experience details required preferred
Bachelor’s Degree marketing, economics, or biomedical engineering 8 years
or Master’s Degree with marketing, economics, or biomedical engineering 6 years
or equivalent or additional Healthcare related (scientific or engineering) post-graduate degree a plus 6 years of related experience working in sales, marketing, event management or healthcare industry Required Skills:
Proven successful project management skills
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Extensive understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles, marketing event planning, conceptualization of engagement platforms with healthcare professionals, and associated regulations in the medtech area.
Ability to assess and understand market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics
Possess strong clinical knowledge, experience and knowledge of the clinical areas where Edwards’ products are used or intended to be used, understand the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area working closely with cross-functional team, marketing peers and leaders and managing needs and messaging to upper management
Ability to maintain a strong relationship with the regional sales team, clinical specialists, governmental affairs, clinical economics and training to ensure effective and optimal integration of efforts
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control People Management
