The Principal, Enterprise Solutions for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for business development and commercial leadership with client executives to identify strategies and gain commitment to execute a Performance Partnership. You will be responsible for directing new business initiatives spanning multiple portfolios and across national and regional enterprises and health systems.

As part of the Performance Partnership Europe Team this position will be fully remote although ideally based in the Germany.

You will report to the General Manager Performance Partnerships Europe, who has overall responsibility for business development, consulting and continuous improvement initiatives within clients and health networks across Europe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strategic relationships with existing clients and review opportunities to grow business throughout the Danaher Dx portfolio and possibly other Danaher divisions.
  • Consult across large complex business systems and value streams regarding continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Work directly with senior health executives to define linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements using analytical tools, consulting techniques and change management.
  • Lead Business development and Market development of innovative commercial propositions to solve clients’ key challenges across key European markets.
  • Co-develop business proposals with regional IVD Sales Managers and provide support in developing functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead development of customer Statement of Work (SOW) documents by engagement with hospital executives to resolve project scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Support Performance Partnership Assessments in conjunction with Discovery Consultants to clearly understand client needs and opportunities for innovation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS or BA Degree from an accredited institution. Degree in Business discipline or healthcare administration desirable (or equivalent experience). MBA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years track record of commercial experience with demonstrated success in sales or consulting, with a proven understanding of financial and operational issues that affect large organizations.
  • Superior skills in communications, training / adult learning, consulting / influencing, structured problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Experience in structuring long-term strategic partnerships across disciplines, regions, and cultures including value-based healthcare propositions through analysis of client business and operations.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time with fluency in German language, professional proficiency in English language and proficiency in French language.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Lean Consulting, Change Management and/or knowledge of health finance experience.
  • Healthcare Diagnostics Operations and economics
  • Healthcare Economics (reimbursement, delivery or technology sectors) and / or Value-based care within Europe.
