Senior Software Automatic Tester (d/f/m)

In this exciting role you are responsible for the design, implementation and execution of automated tests to maximize test coverage.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analysis of test requirements and derivation of a test strategy related to the project/release. Selection and design of the optimal test environment. Use of appropriate test methods and selection of test tools for practical implementation. Test plan creation in close cooperation with all persons/departments involved.
  • Conversion of test requirements into automated executable tests.
  • Ensuring test case relevance with respect to software requirements. Use of appropriate test frameworks (script and click-based) for practical implementation. Maximizing test coverage. Documentation of test cases within a test management tool. Independent execution of the automated tests on the devices of the product portfolio
  • Control and lead software automation projects/participate in projects. Collaboration in the development and implementation of test strategies
  • Evaluation of test results and documentation within a test management tool. Visual preparation and forwarding of test results to the client
  • Processing of software verification plans to ensure the complete testing of the software - platform with the corresponding project features at a time specified by the project
  • Work closely with software developers to quickly address current bugs for their resolution and continuously improve test specifications
  • Maintain internal development equipment to ensure working equipment is available for development and testing
  • Build and provide technical leadership to the test automation team
OUR EXPECTATIONS
  • You have a technical degree with several years of professional experience or a successfully completed technical vocational training and many years of professional experience
  • You are fluent in German and your English skills are on a good level (spoken and written)
  • You have already gained experience in project management
  • You have gained experience in the conception, planning and execution of manual software tests in connection with hardware
  • Your IT skills are good, and you have experience in programming with common languages/script languages, as well as databases
  • You have successfully acquired knowledge of common test tools and/or test automation tools
