IT Operations Specialist (m/f/d)
As IT Operations Specialist (m/f/d) you will take care of administration, further development and support of the IT server landscape as well as the back-up management with the aim of achieving an economical, reliable and high-performance environment for the users
Your Responsibilities
- Further development of the IT server landscape as well as back-up management to ensure a reliable technical environment that meets the requirements
- Perform work within defined security and infrastructure standards. Ensure that systems are patched in the defined time periods and during the defined maintenance windows.
- Ensure availability of all systems is met through effective use of internal and external resources according to defined SLAs
- Work closely with various IT colleagues to maintain a secure, stable and user-friendly IT landscape
- Collaboration with external service providers to ensure their performance according to predefined SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Ensure that all systems are clearly documented, and all necessary information is available to support the systems and reflect changes to the systems in the documentation.
- You take responsibility for implementing DBS (Continuous Improvement) tools to ensure best practices are followed.
- Completed university studies in software engineering, computer science or a related field
- Several years of professional experience within IT Operations
- Very good knowledge of server management and back-up management
- Very strong customer focus
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Analytical and structured working method with problem solving ability
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
