The Strategic Projects Associate supports important projects with high importance to our company under the auspices of the CEO and supervision of the Head of Strategic Projects. This is a generalist role for people with first work experience who want to learn how to scale a start-up and look for a high-impact growth opportunity.

Tasks

Analyze business problems and propose recommendations to resolve them

Identify growth opportunities for our business, research markets, and engage with leads validate ideas

Present recommendations in highly compelling presentations to various audiences

Execute proposed solutions for projects that you co-own

  • Gather requirements with stakeholders in a structured manner
  • Derive insights from CRM and BI software and other data sources
  • Develop complex spreadsheet models and tools
  • Hold highly engaging and empathetic stakeholder meetings, often with senior management
Support in project management (e.g. defining work packages, milestones) and stakeholder management (e.g. kickoff meetings)

Projects you’ll be working on may relate to any function, e.g. marketing, sales, finance, product

Requirements

  • 1-2 years work experience in a start-up, strategy consultancy, VC, corporate strategy or similar dynamic environment
  • First experience in managing projects
  • Strong analytical skills with strong interest in improving further
  • Eloquent communicator with high level of empathy
  • Strong team player with low-ego personality
  • High personal ambition level with “getting things done” mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1-level); German a plus but not required
  • Advanced Excel/GSheets skills; experience with statistics/SQL/BI software a plus
  • Advanced PPT/GSlides skills; experience with presentations to senior stakeholders a plus
  • Graduate from a top-tier university in business or related field
