As part of our ongoing business growth and development strategy, we are investing in key countries around the world including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. To support this growth, we’re looking for a knowledgeable Project Manager with a commercial mindset to join our team in Munich. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of implementing our award-winning hotel software to our growing collection of wonderful hoteliers.

You are someone who is determined to get great results and has our customers very best interests at their core. You’ll be the face of Guestline leading our customers throughout their implementation experience, running seamless installs whilst assisting the company with growing revenues. As a go-to member of our projects team you’ll have the empathy, knowledge, and project management skills to support our customers enabling a stress-free process.

What you’ll get up to*

  • Deliver strategic and non-standard projects utilising the Implementation Team resources
  • Act as the first point of contact for our customer base from contract signature to go live, assessing the project requirements on an individual basis and planning resource and the project accordingly
  • Working diligently and proactively to achieve fantastic results for our customers whilst always keeping all stakeholders in the loop
  • Consult hotels proactively on best practices and ways to improve the usage of our platform
  • Developing long-term customer relationships with assigned accounts in order to generate revenue

You’ll be responsible for

  • Creation of project and training plans
  • Scheduling project resources
  • Successful project delivery
  • The full life cycle of the project covering all Guestline products and services
  • Monitoring and controlling project status and deliverables and updating all internal platforms accordingly
  • Delivering the key project requirements within agreed margins
  • Managing communication of non-standard projects across internal Guestline teams

About you

  • You know how to do this –you’ll be experienced in project management, training or implementation or you’ll have studied Hotel Management, IT or Business Travel in Higher Education
  • You’re meticulously organized –you use efficient processes and know-how to multitask seamlessly whilst always keeping an eye on the detail
  • You’re unwaveringly customer-focused – you put a customer lens on all that you do. You have the ability to understand the problems of our target customers and translate them into actionable insights
  • You’re great with people – you understand how to get the best out of people, delivering a message right and influencing across different teams and stakeholders; from Engineers to Sales to c-suite, customers and third parties
  • You’re Tech- savvy – whilst you don’t need to be able to code, we like our Guestliners to be tech-savvy enough to understand the nuances and workings of our technologies
  • You’re prepared to drive change – You use learning techniques, soft skills and lead by example to inject new ways of thinking wherever needed
  • You’ve got a curious mind – you read around your subject and default to open when it comes to sharing knowledge
  • You’re great with languages - German is your first language and you’re fluent in English
  • Prior experience with German accounting standards and software would be beneficial
