Candidates should be located in central Germany, ideally between Frankfurt and Kassel.The Role
We have built the KONUX Predictive Maintenance System for rail switches, the first AI-based solution for the rail industry. As a Regional Account Manager at KONUX, you will lead the regional account team and build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders within this region. Together with your account team, you will assure a smooth regional system rollout and a quick adoption process. You will be responsible for driving the demand for existing solutions and for gaining an in depth understanding of future customer needs and upselling opportunities. Your Responsibilities
- Build strong relationship with key stakeholders within the region, ensuring the advantages of KONUX solutions are fully comprehended and supported
- Drive the demand and the budget creation, ensuring long-term success by advising regional leaders in customer’s organization on covering their transformation needs with existing KONUX solutions
- Nurture demand for new solutions and solution upselling, based on an in depth understanding of customer’s future business challenges
- Support the account strategy and the a joint transformational agenda to enable high-value sales, as well as a growth journey across the customer’s organization
- Work closely with the Account Director and your regional account team to ensure project success and expansion of the account
- 5+ years of experience in selling technological solutions and complex systems to railway companies, or in other national-level government tendering industries such as defense, aerospace, oil & gas or renewables.
- Familiarity with the railway infrastructure industry along with solid knowledge of client budgeting and purchasing processes
- Extensive knowledge of customer pain points and ability to propose meaningful solutions to customers
- Seeking ultimate responsibility for your region´s success and tenaciously doing what it takes to ensure it
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and German language.
- The idea of selling new technologies that are not yet categorized in customer procurement processes excites you
- Sharing the KONUX Culture, incl. a growth mindset, resilience and flexibility
- You are not passionate about selling new technologies which are not yet categorized in customer procurement processes
- You are not able to work both autonomously, as well as within a team in a remote-based position
- You feel the KONUX Culture is not for you
- You expect to keep doing the same things you have done somewhere else instead of adjusting your sales approach and learning about how to sell KONUX’ unique, market-creating, innovative, solution
- You are rather hands-off
