As an intern in Corporate M&A you will have an excellent opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of an essential department within our company. You will gain valuable experiences in a dynamic team where you will be able to apply your academic knowledge in practice. We offer diverse, interesting and challenging tasks and you will have an active role in our daily operations.

  • Support our team in executing strategic projects with a focus on M&A transactions
  • Conduct detailed market and competitor analyses and generate valuable insights
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets based on strategic considerations
  • Supporting financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses
  • Assist with the preparation and design of process documentation and reporting concepts
  • Assist with the preparation of (ad-hoc) analyses and reports for the Executive Board and Senior Management
  • Support the team in the decision making process through profound analysis and comprehensive presentations of complex topics
  • Communicate and collaborate with national and international departments and divisions
  • You have successfully completed your 3rd semester of studies in business, economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable program and possess prior practical experience
  • Enrolled during the entire period of the internship or internship between the Bachelor and Master program (Gap Year)
  • You possess outstanding analytical skills as well as an affinity for numbers and IT
  • Very good command of spoken and written English, German is a plus
  • Strong, self-confident communicator who enjoys working in a team
  • You show commitment, flexibility and the ability to work independently
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
