The job holder is responsible for strategy development and implementation in LSG Group. He/she can structure and lead M&A transactions.

  • Identifies and promotes key strategic initiatives and projects at Group level in collaboration with LSG regions and segments, in particular identifying areas for action, creating hypotheses/scenarios, conducting analyses and preparing and presenting them
  • Main contact for strategic projects, e.g. potential M&A projects or long-term partnerships / joint ventures
  • Leads interdisciplinary project teams (internal/external) for the execution of strategic projects, e.g. due diligence / M&A projects / carve-outs / post-merger integration
  • Defines global guidelines, standards and process optimizations
  • Acts as a facilitator in a multidisciplinary setting within top management
  • University degree in strategy, finance or economics
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in strategy development and implementation in a corporate group or strategic consulting firm
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, a third language is an advantage
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Financial evaluation of strategic projects / options for action
  • In-depth knowledge of M&A transactions - commercial, financial and legal
  • Ability and interest in identifying new business opportunities
  • Experience in building alliances and partnerships
