About this Role
This role will support the management with regard to all organizational and administrative issues and tasks through independent completion. One of the main responsibilities for the next 3-6 months will be to set-up the new office introducing easy and scalable processes and self-service for Ory’s employees.
Key Tasks and Deliverables
- Purchasing everything we need and making sure that we can work efficiently for e.g. ordering stationary to a custom made 6-meter LED-wall
- Organizing and coordinating team events, conferences, workshops to make them a memorable one
- Maintaining a good relationships with suppliers and service providers as well as addressing problems in a friendly and decisive manner
- Making sure that everyone knows the outcomes of an important meeting and you ensure that people feel responsible for what is being implemented consistently
- Booking appointment even in the tightest calendar and making sure a hotel room is available and affordable even on an Oktoberfest weekend
- Having a sense of financial overview: you always know how much we have spent, whether the invoice has been issued correctly and if there is still money in the budget
- Answering calls and emails that Ory receives or finding someone to answer them
- You have work experience as an office manager, personal assistant, team assistant, office administrator or similar position.
- You are good at organizing and simultaneously keeping all balls in the air
- Every working day is different, you can’t plan it beforehand and that’s fine for you
- You are not too good for small tasks and do not shy away from big ones
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English at the level of C1 and you like to learn new software
- Commitment to work an average of 4 days a week in the office in Munich
