Tasks

Your mission as a Pre-Sales Enginer is the successful deployment of our software and the transformation of our customers into real ELISE champions which enables them to bring instant business value to their company.

You will join our Customer Success Engineers David, Jeron and Rahman as a team member and work closely together with the sales and marketing team. It’s going to be a very exciting ride as you will constantly get in close contact with new companies and industries. As you are able to understand our clients’ challenges and key pain points in a short time, you will be able to inspire them as an ELISE expert with customized teasers & live demos.

How a week at ELISE could look like:
  • You know how to manage both technical and sales conversations with customers in such a way that you clearly identify and illustrate the benefits of our software solutions with the customer’s needs in mind.
  • You inspire our clients by creating customized teasers showing the full potential of our software.
  • You work closely together with our sales and customer success team and support them regarding pre-sales and upselling meetings.
  • In the pre-sales phase, you are the main contact person for all technical questions from our customers and partners.
  • You spread the message of generative engineering and the value of ELISE at conferences, through online webinars and marketing cases (LinkedIN posts, publications, etc.) together with our customers.
Requirements
  • You enjoy working with several clients from different industries (e.g. aerospace, automotive, manufacturing) on a daily basis.
  • You have development engineering know-how with profound CAE knowledge (e.g. Siemens NX, Catia, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LSDyna etc.).
  • You are able to understand customer needs, handle objections in a customer-oriented way and to help develop technical business cases within our software.
  • Solution driven thinking and conceptional working mentality.
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English.
  • Ideally, you have a high proficiency with algorithmic modeling and automation tools as well as some hands-on programming skills.
  • Preferably, you have skills in the area of design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), optimizations & DoE, structural, thermal & dynamic analysis.
  • If you have didactic skills for product-demos and training (e.g. sales live demos, webinars and workshops) and presentation experience at public speaking engagements you’ll impress us even more.
