Job Description


Your team

The Regulatory Reporting Team is within our Banking Core division which is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Avaloq software and products.

As a member of the Regulatory Reporting Team, you will be part of a collaborative small team of Software Engineers and Business Analysts building high quality solutions to support our existing and new clients.

Following Agile methodologies, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and Software Engineers to design, develop, test and maintain functionality within the team’s responsibility.


Your mission

  • Analyse regulatory requirements of customer issues
  • Gathering new requirements
  • Specifying functionality with software developers, partners and clients
  • Supporting developers during implementation
  • Maintaining product documentation in collaboration with our technical writers
  • Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions
  • Supporting consulting projects and sales workshops

Qualifications


What you need

  • University degree in banking/economics or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge regarding regulatory reporting software, like BAIS or ABACUS
  • Strong written and spoken English and German language skills
  • Eagerness to learn and understand the business needs
  • Demonstrable interest in technology
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Awareness of Agile methodologies
  • Being a team player, willing to contribute and help other team members in order to successfully achieve team goals
  • Excellent logical and problem solving skills
  • Pro-active, well organised, self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude


You will get extra points for the following

  • Knowledge of the Avaloq Banking Suite
  • Skills in PL/SQL
