Your team
Delivers best-in-class technical administrative support services as a Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) for our client’s depository function (Verwahrstellenfunktion). Provides advice to business partners with his extensive professional experience and specialised knowledge, without making decisions or exercising discretion. Plays in the champions league when it comes to collegial cooperation to meet service levels and time frames. Spearheads the new service offering around depository needs and creatively develops new services. Celebrate their successes together and after the Corona crisis also again with a joint breakfast in the office or sometimes after work at Düsseldorf’s famous Altstadt.
Your mission
- Performing Fund Administration tasks and checks in order to reconcile the funds against Fund Managers (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften) records including communication / clarification of breaks with internal Global Backoffice (BPaaS) partners of Avaloq
- Professional representation of our company as well as communication and cooperation with auditors, business partners / depositaries (Verwahrstellen) and their Fund Managers
- Fostering the teams and your own knowledge and capabilities through cooperation and exchange of experience
- Ensuring compliance with the KPIs agreed in the service level agreements for Fund Administration as well as development and design of the services offered
- Ongoing optimisation of the daily business processes as well as the technical infrastructure supporting the processes including participation in release tests
What you need
- Banking education, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with good knowledge of financial instruments and regulatory requirements
- 1 – 5 years of professional experience of which at least 1 year in fund accounting at a depositary or a fund management company (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft)
- Strong sense of responsibility and solution orientation with high level of integrity and reliability as well as self-confident and communicative personality
- IT affinity and process oriented mind with comprehension of complex issues and strategic analytical thinking skills along with assertiveness and a creative mindset
- Good command of written and spoken English and German as well as good handling of Microsoft Office Suite
You will get extra points for the following
- Experience in securities backoffice of a depositary (Verwahrstelle) or back office of a fund management company (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft)
- Completed university or applied science Master’s degree in banking, business administration or equivalent and Knowledge in Software development process and testing
