For our Corporate Procurement department, we are currently looking for a Global Senior Buyer to join our team. The position can be located in various places depending on the candidate.

How To Contribute To Our Vision

The Global Senior Buyer will manage Bearings Commodity cross-business Nacelle plants production globally. In this position, the Global Senior Buyer will coordinate and manage a virtual team to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities and to increase profit from global and cross-business or sourcing for one business.

You will participate in defining Bearings Commodity structure, organization and strategy in alignment with Global Commodity Manager; develop and implement material productivity measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the targets. The Global Senior Buyer will communicate the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Furthermore, you will negotiate frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Management IT-systems, as well as forward systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date. In this position, you will identify procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage as well as exploit potential opportunities through risk and change management. You will also perform Supplier Management, in particular Supplier Development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain.

What You Need To Make a Difference

Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.

We expect you to have a BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a technical background as well as 3-5 years of experience within the Procurement area or the technical area or similar.

You are as a person curious and want to learn and contribute in the organization, as well as you are good at managing different stakeholders. It is essential that you have good analytical skills and presentations skills. Furthermore, it is essential that you master IT skills within Excel and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. It is an advantage if you also have Spanish or Germany language skills, but this is not a requirement.
