EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT / OFFICE MANAGER IN RISK MANAGEMENT FRANKFURT
Background on the Position
Morgan Stanley is looking for an Executive Assistant / Office Manager in Risk Management Frankfurt to provide efficient and effective executive support to a team of Risk professionals, with focus on the Chief Risk Officer as well as assisting the wider team as the key administrative / operational support within the department in order to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Firm Risk Management (FRM) supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and other risks.

What will you be doing?
- Executive responsibilities
Support of the Morgan Stanley Europe Chief Risk Officer, a Member of the Management Boards, and Risk Department Heads to ensure the Risk Division runs in an efficient and effective manner
Preparation of external correspondence with excellent attention to detail, including but not limited to, the preparation and review of PowerPoint presentations and drafting formal correspondence
- Administrative responsibilities
Diary management for the Chief Risk Officer, pro-actively ensuring there are no conflicts using initiative to find resolutions by prioritising time sensitive meetings and arrange internal and external meetings as required
Provide telephone coverage including responding to and dealing with enquiries and fielding calls
Co-ordinate and book the Risk Division’s travel arrangements and manage expense reimbursement
Point of contact for all administrative queries within the Risk Management Division
Qualifications - External
What we’re looking for:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Bilingual secretary with German language skills preferred (“Fremdsprachensekretärin”)
Experience in a banking, consulting or legal environment
The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both written and verbally
An interest in working in a fast-paced environment, often balancing multiple high priority deliverables
Strong attention to detail and ability to provide information in usable formats (proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
The ability to work independently in a self-directed way in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
