Our partner operates a leading factory for rolled products. The total capacity of 440,000 tons per year includes aluminum foil and lithography products, aluminum strip for lightweight automotive construction, aluminum strip, also painted, for beverage cans and much more. At the same aluminum site founded in 1916, the company refines aluminum into high-purity qualities. Rolling has been in operation in Grevenbroich since 1922.

This established and successful organization and we are currently working together in the search for an ambitious Treasury Assistant (m/f/d) for the headquarters in Grevenbroich. The attractive company enables a varied and responsible job in a collegial and team-oriented working atmosphere.

Tasks
  • Support built up of treasury management system in areas Aluminium OTC forwards, Foreign Exchange (FX) and Cash Management
  • Reconcile internal and external Aluminium forward and FX transactions
  • Prepare settlement of Aluminium forward and FX transactions (confirmations, payments)
  • Follow up on credit limits and collaterals against external counterparties
  • Align internal FX transactions with business units and record them in treasury management system
  • Ensure update of market data to treasury management system
  • Support reporting and accounting at month/year end with reports from treasury management system
  • Support reporting process in course of requirements from financial regulations
  • Support daily cash management processes
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of higher education in Finance (bachelor or higher)
  • At least 5 years of experience in back office for metals hedging gained in corporates or banks
  • Good knowledge of financial instruments
  • Excellent competence and understanding of basic treasury and accounting issues
  • Understanding of applicable Reporting Standards
  • Fluent in business English and German
  • Enjoys working in a team
