Trainer / Ausbilder / Tech-Mentor (gn)

in Leipzig!

The role

As a trainer and tech-mentor, you will be responsible for in-house IT-training in close cooperation with the Academy Apprentice Manager with regard to all educational activities of the training in theory and practice. You will participate in the development of the young and growing SWO Academy and the further development of the training of pupils, apprentices, (dual) students as well as retrainees.
  • You organize and conduct the in-company IT-lessons of the different training groups
  • You will design and develop training programs
  • Your tasks also include planning the locations for the practical assignments and monitoring the trainees’ assignments
  • You will create an environment that promotes professional growth, competence and performance
  • You evaluate trainees and retrainees by conducting support, development, and appraisal interviews
  • You will monitor attendance, engagement, and achievement

What We Need To See From You
  • You have completed vocational training or studies in the field of IT
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and practical experience with young people
  • Proof of training aptitude (AEVO) is desirable, but can also be acquired promptly (after hiring).
  • In your at least three years of professional experience in the IT field, you have already gained initial experience.
  • You have very good German and English skills
