By working in customer support, not only are you the face of SumUp in the eyes of our merchants, you also define their experience with us by offering them outstanding guidance in navigating any challenges they may face related to SumUp products and services.

What you’ll be doing in this position

  • You are the voice of our company - the direct link to our customers, supporting them with a variety of technical issues
  • You will proactively support our merchants by listening to their issues and finding solutions to them
  • You take care of our German-speaking customers (D-A-CH) in a variety of communication channels, primarily by phone and email
  • You actively work on the optimisation of all processes related to our customers, to constantly increase the happiness of our merchants
  • You closely work with other departments, for example with our engineering team
  • You’re part of an international and multilingual team

You’ll be great for this position if

  • You have excellent language skills and feel comfortable speaking and writing in German and in English
  • You are somebody who has a technical mindset, and love all things tech
  • You love to communicate, while being easy-going and patient with our customers
  • You are passionate about helping our customers
  • You’re curious and persistent to solve issues
  • You’re organised and can keep a cool head even in stressful situations
  • Experience with an issue-tracking system would be considered a plus
