We are looking for an Supplier Manager (f/m/d) for the department " Electrical domain and the Digital & Power commodity" in Bremen for our customer, one of the largest European aerospace companies.

The key missions of the successful applicant are:

• Inspire a high-performing collaboration within the industrial team formed by the ArianeGroup multi-disciplinary equipment project team and by the industrial partner’s team
• Creating trusting relationships with numerous stakeholders in a very wide variety of functions
• Ensure successful completion of project milestones and delivery of units as per the subcontracts with our industrial partners and in line with the ArianeGroup needs as Prime
• Prevent and negotiate any supplier claim, systematically improve when objectives are not met
• Solve issues with energy and even better avoid them thanks to proactive risk and opportunity management
• Operate and create positive momentum at all levels of the organizations and all-time horizons
• Escalate when appropriate and to the adequate level to generate the required reaction from our partners or colleagues, in order for the program to be successful
• Master the supplier´s projects plans and products, their development logic, their key requirements, their design, manufacturing & test cycle times as well as all associated schedules
• Communicate constantly, share their information in a concise, complete and timely manner (dates in ERP, regular progress synthesis…) to the involved stakeholders
• Dynamically support continuous improvement activities, internally and with our industrial partners, leveraging opportunities that arise in the frame of our operations, most often with no dedicated budget
• Adapt the supplier to the needs of multiple projects and business lines, within the structure of ArianeGroup’s processes, in order to secure their satisfaction on their collaboration with the Procurement Directorate

As Supplier Manager (m/f/d) you report operationally to the Program Manager and contribute to PM-level meetings & reports, escalate difficulties, hard points and alerts, activates the networks with respect to the choices & decisions that go beyond the scope of the control team.

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• University´s degree in Engineering with distinctive commercial understanding or Business Degree Engineering with distinctive technical understanding
• Proven experience in project management of the development of electrical products and mastery of project management processes as well as system engineering processes
• Proven experience in subcontract management, in dealing with industrial partners and with customers
• Skills in Microsoft office, Microsoft Projects and SAP
• Profound technical understanding of space business and its products
• Proven leadership skills in a multicultural context
• The willingness to frequent travels within Germany, mainly to Berlin, and also regular travels to France/ other parts of Europe
• Highly autonomous way of working
• Fluent in English & German
