Senior Product Manager

Cerabyte, a computer hardware company, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help revolutionize the data storage industry. The Senior Product Manager will play a vital role in achieving this goal by guiding the development of this revolutionary technology and bringing it to market.

We are looking for a high caliber Senior Product Management to lead and execute our key strategic product launch projects of IaaS writing/reading devices and thereby drive the next phase of growth for our company. In this key role, you report to the COO, and work closely with the local senior leadership team to identify, prioritize, develop activities/projects during the product introduction phase and execute product launches.

You will develop together with cerabyte sales and R&D as well as external partners the product, the road maps for future generations. You will work closely with marketing to develop all materials necessary for a successful hardware launch and manage the first trials with prospects (typically hyperscalers or reseller of data center hardware)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, develop, and launch innovative data storage products
• Lead the planning and execution of product roadmaps and product positioning
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform product development decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners
• Conduct market research to identify target markets, customer needs, and market opportunities
• Define and manage product pricing and profitability
• Communicate insights and findings to management team and contribute to strategic planning
• Co-Develop together with business development a company-wide go-to-market plan, leading collaboration with all necessary personnel within the go-to-market team, and overseeing implementation and execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in product management for computer hardware or a related industry, experience in startup/ scales-up would be a plus.
• Proven track record of launching successful technical products and driving revenue growth
• Experience managing cross-functional development teams
• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop data-based insights
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for innovative technology and commitment to sustainability
• Analytical mindset: you are really good with numbers and have strong analytical logic and rigor. Ability to analyze complex processes for action requirements and develop solutions
• A winning personality with strong people and communication skills

Must have Requirements

• Candidate must closely work with German engineering companies: Fluency in German
• Fluent English
• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud services, computer hardware development, computer storage sales or top-tier consulting (plus ideally experience in a scale up)
• High degree of independence, ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for new technologies
