The Corporate Cash Payments Product Management Team is seeking a Principal Product Manager.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced senior payments product manager to support the global head of payments products to deliver against the strategic direction of the global payment’s products and solutions, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation in the payment space that can be fed into a compelling vision for the evolution of our payment’s products and solutions. Our solutions in Cash are reused across the Corporate bank and therefore partnership & collaboration are key to the successful delivery of our target outcomes in this space. Payments are the cornerstone of the cash business and underpin our future product offering, that need a robust framework which meets the demands of our global regulators & oversight teams.

You will report into the Global Head of Payments & Transactional FX Product Corporate Cash Management and work with our global Product, Sales & Services teams as well as Infrastructure, Risk and Control partners to support the Global payments products. As a senior payment’s product manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our payments offering and driving business growth. Product Management is a key discipline within Cash Management which leverages collaboration across multiple disciplines to achieve business outcomes for the bank, our clients & external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop & commercialise solutions on top of our existing payments products, with our clients & partners which delivers against our Global Hausbank strategy and enables the growth forecast in our business strategy

• Drive a strong culture of risk management & awareness within the product & partner teams ensuring a sustainable payment platform strategy

• Support the delivery of the strategic target payment architecture ensuring it successfully delivers on the targeted benefits

• Engage with the sales and coverage organisation and clients to gain insights, understand pain points, and conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs and competitive offerings.

• Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements relating to payments and advocate on behalf of DB in relevant Industry forums

• Be an active member of the Payments Product leadership team in Corporate Cash Management

Your skills and experiences

• Strong understanding of Cash Management Products & Revenue Drivers

• Deep understanding of the corporate payments landscape globally

• Strong risk awareness and experience in identifying, measuring, and tracking business risks

• Working technology knowledge to ensure solutions to risks/issues are embedded in target state whilst effectively mitigating near term challenges

• Ability to collaborate across functions to drive results

• Comprehensive experience in the Financial Industry, Cash Management know how beneficial

• Fluent in German & English
