The (Senior) Marketing Specialist THV (Transcatheter Heart Valve) drives execution of country marketing plan to achieve local THV business goals in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support marketing campaigns, new product and indication launches according to marketing plan incl. field training and campaign monitoring, and ensure strong execution in collaboration with local analyst
  • Plan & lead the implementation of assigned therapy development initiatives in collaboration with EU therapy awareness team, country marketing manager, and local team, according to marketing plan
  • Collaborate with country marketing manager and local team to develop event strategy, aligned with local dynamics/needs and EU event strategy, and lead execution incl. local congress appearance
  • Lead the creation of localized marketing materials incl. internal approval process
  • Assess market dynamics and analytics (e.g., market size and trends, competitive situation, reimbursement) in close collaboration with Business Analyst in the country

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and several years’ experience of work experience required or Master’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience of related experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry required
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in English and German strongly required; other European language is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
  • Substantial knowledge of marketing concepts and principles
  • Proven understanding of broad market research designs, develops market research programs coordinating with the global VOC manager and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of commercial goals behind research
  • Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics
  • Substantial understanding in tracking and interpreting market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics
  • Possess a fundamental clinical knowledge related to hospital environment, clinical practice, and reimbursement policies
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to own selective projects within a specific area working closely with cross-functional team, marketing peers and leaders and managing needs and messaging to upper management
  • Ability to work with the regional sales team, clinical specialists, clinical economics, and training to ensure effective and optimal integration of efforts
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

This position is based in Germany (remote).
