SUMMARY
Lead the EHS team to ensure compliance with permits, official requirements, laws, and internal guidelines regarding occupational and plant safety and health and environmental protection at the site. Actively advise the site leader and the plant management on the effective implementation of all relevant laws, regulations, and permit requirements. Further development of the EHS management systems at the site and introduction of programs for continuous improvement of EHS performance, including safety culture and safe practices. The position also includes the role of the leading health and safety officer.
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

University degree or equivalent in the field of technology, process engineering, or chemical enginee

Several years of professional experience as a safety engineer in the chemical industry.

Experience in managing an EHS department, preferably in the chemical industry.

Experience in managing employees.

Excellent communication skills, able to communicate on different levels in a diverse matrix environm

Passionate mindset and work attitude

Business fluent German and fluent English skills (written and spoken)
