Senior Business Development Manager - Zalando Shipping Solutions

As a Senior Business Developer for Zalando Shipping Solutions, you identify and implement game-changing innovations within Zalando’s Logistics Network. You drive strategic initiatives at the intersection of Logistics Solutions, Digital Services and new Business Models.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• Slice the elephant and convey visions and strategic goals into projects of impact - within our Customer Fulfillment environment, across Zalando and with external Partners
• Follow an analytical approach to understand business needs and make data-driven decisions while deducting clear requirements for different areas and defining measures for implementation; drive solution design and implementation with peers and multiple teams across Zalando
• Be creative in tackling the needed adjustments to decompose complexity and prioritize to define evolutionary steps along the journey to the strategic goal
• Represent the team, product and business unit within company-wide initiatives and assure that overarching objectives are aligned; communicate, present and align with project teams, stakeholders and senior management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You have an University degree in the field of business administration, economics engineering or similar, along with 5+ years of professional experience and solution expertise in logistical, digital and operational topics; good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, as well as of omni- and multi channel business models
• You are a creative mind, solving complex topics by deconstructing them, considering them from multiple perspectives; you are able to dig into details without losing sight of the big picture
• You have your own ideas and like to shape them into future services for our customers and partners. You combine a strong can-do mentality with excellent organisational skills and managing diverse stakeholder groups in cross-functional projects at ease
• You are driven by high interest in innovation and have already gained experience in leading cross-functional project teams and/or small teams
