BCG DV is partnering with one of the world’s largest coffee pioneers to launch a digital platform which will democratize access to specialty coffee. The new product connects high-quality speciality roasters with consumers across Germany and beyond. At "60beans", our core belief is that good coffee should not only be served in speciality coffeehouses, but accessible to all coffee lovers, whilst enabling passionate roasters to broaden their marketbase within Europe.

Underpinned by leading technology and a laser-sharp focus on the customer, our unique marketplace integrates a variety of brands across coffee, equipment, and accessories. Backed by a prominent investor, the venture combines industry experts, bold entrepreneurs, and passionate technologists committed to further developing the market for speciality coffee. BCGDV is supporting in building out the foundational team and is on the lookout for a Partnerships Manager to take the venture to the next level.

What you will do:
  • Develop new partner relationships through various channels, such as cold calling, networking and keeping up to date with key associations across the industry.
  • Maintain and improve current relationships with B2B as well as manage the customer service hotline for B2B and B2C clients.
  • Participate in webinars, in-person events, conferences and network with peers in the industry to identify sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate and plan events with suppliers and customers.
  • Drive the partner acquisition strategy for the business.
  • Identify and onboard strong potential partners in the industry that the business can collaborate with, fostering this relationship with the aim of delivering positive commercial results.
  • Work closely with other cross functional team members in the wider organisation to follow up and execute on the existing, new and past clients, to ensure a fantastic customer experience that will lead to repeat business.
  • Managing and improving sales pipelines aided by CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining a painless customer journey, involving aftercare with customer success targets in mind.

What we are looking for:
  • Experience in sales, account or relationship management.
  • Ability to form new strategies for customer acquisition and retention, and a comfort-level with pivoting that strategy based on results.
  • Previous experience working with a client-base of small to medium sized businesses.
  • Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data and able to build and own key performance indicators that enhance the customer experience.
  • A self-starter with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Native German speaking proficiency level.
  • Will be required to travel, up to 20% to engage with suppliers on a continuous basis.
  • Experience working in a B2B/B2C sales environment would be an ideal.
  • Has had experience working with CRM software such as Hubspot, or Salesforce.
  • Passion for the coffee industry.
