Master Data Project Manager (w/m/d)

Our team is growing - as a Project Manager (w/m/d) you are working alongside Data and Finance teams and a diverse team of technical specialists, strategists and stakeholders all over Zalando. You will be part of a team responsible for driving the continued transformation and integration of a future-proof Data / Finance environment.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• You will actively run and support individual and cross-functional IT systems-related projects. You will be responsible for operational project steering (i.e. define project plan and development sprints, review change requests, etc.) and project management (i.e. status reporting)
• You will support your colleagues in Data / Finance to define business requirements, provide context and best practices and translate them into meaningful concepts (functional specification) and process improvements.
• You are an independent sparring partner within Data / Finance and interact with our technology departments at Zalando. You will be on a regular exchange with the rest of the company-wide project management community to bring in common standards and best practices

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You have a degree in a business- and /or a law-related university, especially related to finance topics
• You made first experiences in Data, Finance and/or Project Management
• You understand the big picture but at the same time you work thoroughly on the details
• You are structured and organized yourself, you plan tasks and procedures carefully, set clear goals and keep track of results
• You are passionate about delivering high-quality projects
• You have a team focus and strong communication skills (English is mandatory, German is a plus). You have excellent Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides skills. Project management certification (Prince2, PMI, Agile) is a plus.
