The role

The German speaking markets Lush Austria and Lush Germany are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to support the overall strategy, maintain and actively take part in the development of our digital e-commerce services. The role needs a talent for analytical thinking and reporting skills. You will be guided by the Digital Trading Manager DE/AT and with your flexible mindset you will react quickly to the company needs and market trends and customer requests. You will take part in product forecasts for quick and long lead launches.

You will support our global digital estate to increase the discoverability of our products and grow the conversion rate and increase digital sales. The Junior Digital Coordinator will report to the Digital Trading Manager and Digital Team Leads, with a predominant focus on supporting the country strategy on our single website vision and optimising for language.

In the long term, you will have the chance to gain experience in international teams on a global level to support the worldwide success of Lush Digital. Applicants will need to either be based in Berlin or Vienna and able to go into the office in either location from time to time.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimise the consumer journey (both web and app) for internal search, in terms of product data and product discoverability to facilitate conversion
  • Monitor onsite search behaviour, external sales trends to inform onsite search optimisations and drive digital sales on both web and apps
  • Roll out and maintain the single homepage strategy across the global platform (web and apps)
  • Implement, optimise and maintain the merchandising of product on the global platform (web and apps), via the creation of collections and tags to improve product discoverability for customers
  • Consider local customer experiences and how they ought to be reflected on the global digital estate
  • Implement content stories on to product pages and measure their impact on conversion rate
  • Work with other members of the digital team to develop trade plans for product launches (product merchandising, onsite search query optimisation, tags/collections, product relationships, homepage plan)
  • Ensure data reporting remains up to date and clear summary analysis is provided where necessary
  • Facilitate smooth running of digital estate launches, both product and features
  • Report on the performance of our global digital estate as required to your local manager
  • Work with local teams to gather website skinny banner messaging and update as necessary
  • Work with the local teams to gather banner, collection, onsite search, and other copy translations to be input onsite
  • Collaborate with the local Retail and Brand Communication teams to align the overall local brand and online/retail strategy
  • Implementation of new payments or delivery methods/& review delivery costs
  • Provide Translation support
  • Provide SEO on-page improvements as suggested by search lead and team

Additional tasks:

  • Take part and learn from Finance and Product Forecasts for your local market

Skills and experience:

  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • At least 1 up to 3 years experience in digital project management and e-commerce
  • German/ Austrian native or experienced with the DE and AT market and local trends
  • Degree in Digital Marketing or related studies or internships
  • First experience in Excel calculation
  • Team Player
  • A flexible, proactive and organised attitude
