Sound interesting?Then come and join our global team asIT-Support Engineer (f/m/d) to assist our clinical customers regarding their excellent IT Know-how, especially in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region.Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.This position can be filled in Germany or within EMEA Region.Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • You provide international remote IT support for the clinical imaging software of several Siemens Healthineers departments to provide a fast and high-quality support for the customer
  • You coordinate and organize activities (incl. updates and upgrades) with internal and external partners, in order to ensure clinical operation for customers
  • You share your know-how with new team members and hereby build up their competencies

  • You have a master’s degree in the field of electronics engineering, computer science
  • You have first experience in customer IT support, ideally with imaging devices and clinical software and workflow
  • Alternatively, you have a bachelor’s degree or are an IT Specialist and have additional substantial work experience in the IT field
  • You also gained first experience with virtualized IT systems (e.g., HyperV or VMWare), scripting and server hardware
  • Having experience in implementing interfaces for 3rd party applications, ideally in a clinical setting, would be a great advantage
  • You know the software syngo.via and have experience in supporting it
Your attributes and skills:
  • You have a structured approach to our customers’ problem cases and are able to keep track of several support requests and set the corresponding priorities; at the same time, you always have customer satisfaction and the quality of your technical solution in mind
  • We serve our customers between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Your working hours are mainly flexible, nevertheless, one week early or late shift every three weeks is required (within the above mentioned timeframe)
  • With your business fluency in English, you support customers all over EMEA in direct telephone contact, can document problems, easily communicate internally with your colleagues and understand the trainings, most of which are held in English. Ideally, you have already gained experience in intercultural cooperation
  • With your strong communication skills, you integrate effortlessly into our international team
