Your responsibilitiesResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited toThe job performed by an Intermediate Sales Trader will lead to taking orders from institutional clients in listed securities (equities, bonds, ETFs), report trade executions and explain how the order was managed.
  • Work closely with the institutional sales force to assist in the day to day trading service needs of our clients & client acquisition
  • Communicate trading ideas and precisely interpret investment opinions of research reports to clients; convey relevant market information to clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure good trade executions to clients
  • Locating liquidity for large/less liquid securities
  • Responsible for developing relationships with clients through trading and execution services
  • Design and production of key sales trading and marketing material
Your profile
  • Bachelor degree or above, preference for finance related major. Finance background would be favorable as would financial field work experience/qualifications
  • CFA level one passed preferred
  • Ability to pass regulatory exams
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role at a financial institution
  • Existing network of institutional clients (asset managers, banks, brokers)
  • Experience in market structure, fix infrastructure are a plus
  • Experience in electronic execution sales are welcome
  • Knowledge of overall financial markets (cross asset), especially European markets, whilst remaining up-to-date with current affairs
  • Understanding the client’s investment behaviour and orientation
  • Highly competent at Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in particular. Excel VBA skills preferred
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), German and other languages are a plus
  • Critical thinking - innovative and creative problem solving skills
  • Customer-oriented mentality, proactive personality
  • Effective communicator
  • Hard working, able to work under pressure, tight schedule and long hours.

  • Willingness to travel
