In this role, you will
  • Support, steer and further develop your multinational team of highly skilled experts (~10 FTE)
  • Provide your internal and external stakeholders with business critical information, with the main focus on Risk reporting (positions, performances and risks) and Financial reporting (monthly closing and forecasting activities)
  • Ensure data quality with ownership and care
  • Manage and develop processes for data validation and analysis
  • Develop and improve end-to-end data flows, especially for new business activities
  • Translate between different stakeholders and pro-actively dissolve content silos
  • Lead and contribute to strategic projects
  • Drive further automation (“zero operations”) to focus on Data2Value activities
  • Further develop digital team capabilities, in particular around Data Science, Data Quality and Visual Analytics, to embrace technological change and new ways of working
  • Be part of the Uniper Data Community

Who we are seeking

  • A passion for people, numbers & tools
  • Excellent university education in Business, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in the ENERGIE industry, in reporting functions or data management roles
  • Thorough understanding of the energy environment and its competitive and regulatory landscape
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to empower teams on the basis of psychological safety
  • Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
  • Structured working method, process orientated thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Capable of making holistic tradeoffs based on deep understanding of content details
  • Experience with organizational and process change projects
  • Ability to convincingly manage a wide range of stakeholders, their conflicting requirements & cross-functional overlaps
  • Service orientated with good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
