Digital Banking Manager – Munich, Germany

We seek a successful, entrepreneurial candidate for this role who has as a high-impact track record in digital banking in Germany with a focus on growth, marketing, product and partnerships and will be driving growth in the German market for Western Union’s digital banking products issued through our own Western Union Bank.

The Digital Banking Manager possesses an entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-focused mindset and is passionate about working cross-functionally on marketing strategy and execution, development of partnerships, customer experience optimization and strategy/analytics.

You’ll join a globally recognized financial services brand that offers the best of both worlds: the agility, customer-centricity and data-based approach of a fintech start-up combined with the 170 year history, global presence and stability of Western Union, currently serving more than 150 million customers across 200 countries.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the digital strategy and roadmap.
• CX: understand customer needs, work with product team to optimize product.
• Strategy: understand market, competitors, positioning. Develop growth strategy.
• Analytics: develop reports, understand KPIs/funnels/customer behavior, leverage to drive strategy
  

Experience Required

• Significant experience in digital bank across Germany, with a successful track record of delivering growth.
• A proven innovator you would have successfully built, planned and implemented an overall digital acquisition strategy. Design our Digital sales funnel optimization strategy spanning all Digital channels.
• Significant experience in growing new customers, pricing, product development, customer activation and customer loyalty.
• Demonstrable experience in driving growth of key segments impacting acquisition of new customers and overall revenue growth.
• Is passionate about leading the implementation of strategic initiatives designed to improve the digital customer experience and conversion.
• Demonstrable experience in business change & transformation within Digital Marketing
• Comfortable leading, owning & building internal & external partnerships.
• A university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred. MBA preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Risk, Pricing, Operations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and monitor key metrics, identify trends, and areas for improvement.
