CRM Manager for Events and Medical Operations (f/m/d)

About The Role

The position of the CRM Manager for Events and Medical is responsible to manage locally our CRM and Event system VEEVA and act as subject matter expert in the German affiliate. The CRM Manager is also responsible for the analysis of CRM data and provide recommendations to management around reporting and features. Maintaining user experience level and recommend improvements to it is a critical success factor. The incumbent strongly collaborates on affiliate level with our Medical, Market Access, Compliance, Standard & Governance, IT and BI teams/functions to improve CRM processes and enhance user experience. In this role the incumbent is responsible to orchestrate the local and international VEEVA governance and IT teams by bilateral communication managing system changes and related roadmaps. This means managing local alignment on changes requests, but also introduce international solutions and manage roll-out an communication plans.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the expert in Veeva Event Module
    • Mange and align New event types, process changes of existing events and adaption based on compliance regulation.
    • Closely collaborate with local stakeholders and international VEEVA team - Ensure timely adaption of system and processes to changes
    • Maintain existing and prepare new training materials (incl. Compliance / S&G review)
    • Conduct new Hire Training, Champions training and user updates
    • Manage incidents with local and global stakeholders ensuring a robust Event process aligned with the Compliance key controls
    • Manage reporting requirement on event activities on affiliate and international level to provide important business insights, but also timely identify documentation gaps
  • Partner to Medical Field Leadership / - Team and Manager Medical Field Execution:
    • Manage all aspects of Medical Veeva CRM, reporting platforms, including territory management, account alignments, survey deployment, training, troubleshooting
    • Conducting baseline assessments of Field Medical capabilities, processes, and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to achieve operational excellence
    • Assist in developing / facilitating key Medical activities and strategic initiatives by providing technical and operational subject matter expertise, including partnering with key stakeholders to understand relevant requirements and leverage technology to meet those needs
    • Support development of Medical Omnichannel planning process and manage implementation in VEEVA with relevant stakeholders
  • Be affiliate partner to VEEVA teams and coordinate local teams:
    • Manage and align on enhancements and new requirements incl. communication and roll-out planning by leading and participating in local/above market VEEVA governance teams
    • Develop and optimize CRM processes and system improvements including the management and realization of all relevant tasks
    • Consult local teams and prepare system for new business opportunities
    • Ensure that all CRM processes adhere to compliance regulations
    • Collaborate with Data & Analytic team to ensure proper reporting on CRM data for meaningful analysis and insight generation
  • Training of the VEEVA users.
    • Develop and maintain the CRM training materials, proactively implement CRM adaptions and changes.
    • Identify areas of improvement that will drive behavioral change of the sales force and ongoing improvement of their business acumen based on interaction with the system.
    • Provides direct support to VEEVA users in all system topics to ensure an effective adoption and experience.

Qualifications
  • University degree in business administration or sciences or IT or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 3-4 years experience in VEEVA administration
  • Experience working in a Medical or Medical Operations function
  • Experience in Field Force Event process
  • Strong MS-Excel and good MS-Powerpoint skills
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written), as well as English
