Are you up for the challenge? We’re looking for a Content Manager (f/m/d) to join our team!
As a Product Marketing Manager (f/m/d) at Apaleo, you’ll own the ideation and creation processes of all content marketing assets throughout the lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will be working together with our lean marketing team and, alongside our Business Development and Customer success teams. As our first Content Manager (f/m/d), you will be a cornerstone in defining and evolving our content strategy and will be supporting the team to navigate growth. Passionate about research and customer education, you thrive in delivering valuable insights through well-thought creative pieces. You are a problem-solver and have a do’er mentality.
What You’ll Be Up To:
- Engaging with external influencers and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges
- Alignment with the Marketing as well as the Business Development team to identify what will deliver the most value to support the acquisition and sales process
- Definition of the content strategy and editorial planning for our B2B targets (mainly mid-market and enterprise hotel chains), to attract and convert qualified audiences.
- Identify and collaborate with outsourced graphic designers to produce some pieces of your content plan
- The ownership of the Tone of Voice for our B2B content, with respect to our brand editorial guidelines
- Own the production of all relevant content assets throughout the buying journey:
- Awareness: Generalist webinars, studies, infographics, blog articles, white papers,...
- Consideration: Webinars, sectoral studies, customer testimonials,...
- Decision: product webinars, practical guides, tutorials/e-learning, product demonstrations,…
- Participating in the organization of proprietary or industry events
- Reporting on the performance of your content (Views, Traffic, Leads, Booking,...) and implementing a continuous improvement process to iterate on your Content Strategy
Your Skills:
- You have at least 3 years of Content marketing experience in a B2B SaaS startup environment. You have worked alongside a marketing team and understand the strategic role of content
- You have a strong interest in technology and/or hospitality
- Proven fantastic writing and oral skills for short and long content on paper or through webinars. You’re able to vulgarize and make complex ideas simple to understand. You know when a joke is nice, and when it’s not. Syntax, grammar, spelling, etc. must have no secret for you
- Strong brand acumen
- Great communication and organizational skills – you’ll synchronize with several teams within the company and have to master workflows to meet delivery deadlines and expectations. Your role will be key and transverse
- SEO expertise – you will have to ensure that all written content meets search engines’ needs and requirements while remaining valuable and "on-brand"
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent German and English. French is a plus
