We offer the chance to get a unique insight into the SaaS & M&A space!

SaaS.group is a Software-as-a-Service portfolio company. We acquire small software businesses and help them reach the next level. We continue operating them under one umbrella, while at the same time providing a comfortable exit for the founders.

The current portfolio consists of 12 companies, and we plan to expand it significantly over the next few years. Therefore, we are now looking for someone to find / engage with new companies and evaluate if they are a good fit for our growing family.

Your responsibilities:

  • Research & Sourcing:You’ll find and connect with new promising SaaS companies through in-depth research and outbound activities.
  • Assessment:You’ll evaluate potential acquisition targets. That involves communicating with founders, testing their products and analyzing company information like KPIs and financials.
    • Operations:You will handle communications with SaaS founders in the early stages of our funnel, work on establishing/maintaining long-term relationships and support us in later stages of the M&A process.
  • Special projects:You’ll help us drive special projects forward (e.g. brand building initiatives, internal tools, process automation).

What you should bring to the table:

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology/software companies. Extra points if you already have relevant experience within the tech startup ecosystem (be it as a startup employee/founder or on the investment side at a VC/PE firm).
  • You are a fast learner, have an ambitious personality with a high level of initiative and great analytical skills.
  • You are well organized, you know how to prioritize tasks, and you get things done.
  • You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills, paired with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to pitch persuasively.
  • You feel comfortable working in a remote-first setup and have a permanent residence in Germany.
