Job description

Your tasks
- Production of visibility products (multimedia) for both internal and external target audiences of GIZ International Services´ projects;
- Composing press releases and other publications in close coordination with GIZ press department;
- Responding to current press enquiries and preparing factual reports;
- Development and implementation of communication strategies and public awareness campaigns, focused at development cooperation projects;
- Research, identify and produce relevant content in the different projects and cross-cutting areas of the GIZ InS portfolio.
- Advise and support of ongoing acquisitions of new projects in the field of communication and visibility, behavioral change and public awareness.
Your profile
- You have a Master´s degree, preferably in the field of journalism, communication (with focus on communication for cooperation), marketing, audiovisual communication, social media relations or comparable fields of study;
- You have between 3 and 5 years of professional experience in the field of media and public relations in an editorial office, corporate communications or at an agency;
- You are confident in dealing with text, images, video, graphics as well is with the corresponding production systems;
- You have proven experience in producing and editing written and multimedia digital content for different target groups;
- You are able to familiarize yourself quickly and comprehensively with new topics, carry out and deliver multiple tasks, able to prioritize and reliably achieve objectives fulfilling tight deadlines;
- You are familiar with topics of international cooperation and/or development cooperation, experience in developing countries is an advantage;
- You are fluent in German and English (both spoken and written); knowledge in another foreign language is an advantage;
- You are very good knowledge of common office applications, especially MS PowerPoint.
