Then we’d love to hear from you!We are looking for a Software Test Automation Developer (m/f/d) to support our great Continuous Test Automation team in our Cockpit Systems Organization. It is our mission to provide complete test automation services for the different software development and validation teams in a continuous testing environment.
What you do
- It is your job to develop and maintain the test automation environment and other testing activities and to define the requirements of the test environment.
- Coding and reviewing the design documentation are also part of your daily tasks as well as failure analysis during the test phases.
- You work on the test automation framework in the context of an embedded automotive Android framework.
- You plan test activities at our local site and align with other testing teams.
- You develop, extend and maintain functional test cases according to project requirements.
- You specify and implement performance and stability test scenarios according to the system requirements.
- In alignment with the project test manager and test automation manager you create and define test suites for testing an embedded Android platform.
- Additionally, you integrate software test frameworks and the test management tool to the CI chain, and maintain and troubleshot the tools.
What you bring
- You hold a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or a similar technical orientation.
- You are experienced with continuous Integration systems like Jenkins.
- You have excellent scripting skills like Linux shells, Python (or Perl).
- You can use version control tools, such as Git, Subversion and have knowledge about Linux system administration.
- You are experienced in object oriented programming languages like Java.
- You have a profound knowledge about Android Architecture (NDK, JNI, Android Java Framework, preferably also Android HAL) and of Android test tools and suites like UI Automator, Monkey Test, VTS, CTS.
