Then we’d love to hear from you!We are looking for a new Android Automotive (Senior) Developer (m/f/d).
Our young team consists of junior and senior specialists for Android Automotive OS development. Our competences cover all software layers from HMI/application development via middleware services and Android framework adaptions down to the HAL layers. We also support graduates and student workers to grow their professional software development skills.

What you do
- As an Android Automotive (Senior) Developer (m/f/d) you extend or modify the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) according to our customer’s needs.
- You develop car related features like Heating, Ventilation, Climate Control (HVAC), drive modes, energy model, consumption, massage, etc.
- Depending on your profile you will be responsible for the full stack from UI development, over middleware components like Car service down to the implementation of the VHAL in C++.
- In addition, you will research, evaluate and integrate new technologies, software libraries and frameworks in the Android ecosystem. Become a trusted expert who can guide our customers to make the right choices.
- You collaborate within a multi-disciplinary international team in an agile environment.
What you bring
- Essential Qualifications
- You hold an university degree in an area of computer science of software engineering, or the equivalent.
- You are knowledgeable about Android Application and framework development, HAL implementation and Android Automotive.
- You know how to produce stable code in Java and C++.
- Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English. German is a plus.
- Learnable skills
- You prove your interest by any private engagement/project/open source contribution.
- You are interested to widen your portfolio of programming languages to Kotlin, C++, Qt.
- You are familiar with Linux, Autosar, SomeIP, MQTT, Canbus and Navigation software.
- You solve problems with your positive can-do attitude and you are a team player solving issues together in an intercultural environment.
