ABOUT THE ROLE:
Talon.One is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic People Operations Specialist to join our growing People and Culture team. In this role, you will make sure we deliver a world-class employee experience. Together with other People team members, you drive a wide range of people initiatives covering the entire employee lifecycle from people administration, payroll management, to compliance execution.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Be the first point of contact for our Berlin team on a day to day People questions (such as hiring, pre-boarding, onboarding, probation reviews, absence management, offboarding)
• Drive our pre-onboarding and onboarding process - make sure our new team members feel integrated and welcome from day one
• Assist and support our payroll office regarding monthly payroll processes
• Engage, develop and educate with employees and managers around HR policies and programs
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements
• Utilize the HR information systems to ensure employee data is maintained efficiently

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Solid experience within an HR or People operations department
• Fluent English and ideally German
• A self-starter attitude - proactive, eager to learn and develop, collaborative and approachable
• Previous experience with HR information, ideally BambooHR
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite applications
