Senior Manager Global Project Management (f/m/d)
Bad Vilbel | Deutschland (DE) | Full-time | Permanent

The Senior Project Manager thrives on change, empowers teams and promotes collaboration whilst delivering and championing rigour of critical projects and programmes throughout the business. Guiding all projects through the Project Lifecycle, including own and co-developments and In-licensing projects and leading key strategic projects. The Senior Project Manager also takes ownership of process improvements and critical business-wide initiatives.

What you can expect:
  • You establish and lead complex projects and programs effectively and independently
  • You define the project scope (objectives, strategy, resources, costs), running project meetings, creating, and maintaining end-to-end project plans, communicating status updates, and capturing (and tracking) project risks
  • You coordinate and run project meetings to monitor project milestones, escalate issues (where needed) and report on progress
  • You ensure all stakeholders are aligned and highlight risks and blockers effectively
  • You use your own initiative (and collaborate with business leaders) to determine which priority projects require more support from the according business functions
  • You ensure changes to project deliverables and timelines are effectively managed and clearly communicated to stakeholders
  • You provide entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo and create strategies to increase project value
  • You support entrepreneurial approach within the entire project teams; foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships and celebrate achievements
  • You resolve project related conflicts through skilled negotiation, tact, and diplomacy, where necessary
  • You conduct project reviews post key project stages and share learnings for future projects as best practise


Wo we are looking for:
  • You hold an University degree in science (preferably Pharmacology, Medicine, Biology or Chemistry)
  • You have additional business qualification and project management certification
  • You have proven Project Management experience (>5 years) and capability to lead complex multi-functional pharmaceutical projects from idea to launch
  • You bring in depth knowledge of pharmaceutical product development processes and regulatory procedures with regard to the delivery of new product developments, including operating with 3rd party suppliers
  • You have a commercial acumen and a sound understanding of business needs in the pharmaceutical industry
  • You demonstrate strong leadership skills with a clear collaborative style; you are able to work in a fast-paced growth organisation, lead, influence and drive teams through change
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • You bring strong organisational skills with a proactive flexible approach when managing change
  • You are a strong problem solver with the ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • You display energy and passion and have strong personal drive and motivation
  • You meet challenges with confidence, maintaining high professional standards when dealing with change and ambiguity
