Senior GMA Physician (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the Global Medical Lead (m/f/d) for the C> portfolio in neurology of Bayer`s satellites and be a member (m/f/d) of the medical core team (MCT)
C>, providing the medical strategy and the global medical affairs plan for the C> neurology portfolio - Plan and implement the building of a global thought leader network to facilitate recruitment of study centers and enable the building of a global scientific
platform for education and training dedicated to C> which includes the planning and conduct of global scientific advisory boards with key opinion
leaders and other external customers and representation of Bayers viewpoint to key opinion leaders, scientific advisors and health authorities - Support the strategic planning and conduct of PH1-PHIII studies and be in alignment with the Integrated Evidence Group responsible for the strategic
planning and conduct of global phase IV medical affairs studies and their analysis, strategic evaluation and publication and provide strategic guidance to
the regional and country medical affairs for local and regional PH IV studies - Provide medical affairs input into core labeling and pharmacovigilance documents (e.g. risk management plans, PSURs, risk-benefit assessments)
- Be a member (m/f/d) of global publication strategy team supporting the planning, writing, reviewing, editing and production of scientific abstracts,
presentations, manuscripts, review articles and symposia proceedings as well as ensure the data are relevant to the global medical and scientific
community and are presented in context of previously published findings - Translate scientific data into relevant product communication topics, identify gaps between brand communication and supportive data and recommend
strategies for (studies, analyses, expert position statements) - Work closely with commercial colleagues on brand messaging and market access colleagues on payer strategies and provide medical review of
global promotional material and other material for global use, e.g., product monographs, press releases, Q&As and journal publications - Oversee compassionate use strategy for C> neurology portfolio of Bayer`s satellites within GMA
WHO YOU ARE
- Advanced university degree, preferably medical degree with board examination in either neurology or neurosurgery, ideally with disease and therapeutic
area knowledge in Cell and Gene therapies, with long-term relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical development,
medical affairs or other related functions or a combination of pharma experience and experience in a clinical setting - Experience in leading cross-functional teams, across cultures and geographies as well as experience working across boundaries and building effective
working relationships between functions - Experience of developing and delivering presentations and publications in English as well as thorough knowledge of company policies and processes
- Understanding of the Cell & Gene related development process over different stages as well as understanding of global regulations and guidelines
- Proven record of relationship building, both internally and externally to the organization
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as excellent strategic and leadership skills
- Proven ability to design, interpret and communicate clinical phase IV studies as well as the ability to lead multi-functional teams in a complex global
environment - Fluent in English, both written and spoken
