PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

Leading the digital transformation office (DTO) to accelerate the execution of strategic focus areas, continuously evolve the business and operating model with a strong focus on a cultural transformation. Operate Digital in the Now and transform Digital for the Next. Drive the execution of cross-functional strategic projects across digital, HQ Functions & Markets; Lead communication within Digital and towards our key stakeholders and partners Lead continuous digital transformation with a focus on Execution, People & Culture. Create, drive and implement a strategic Head office framework for Digital based on the brand and overall adidas strategy, milestones and processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transformation

  • Steer cross-functional transformation, synergy identification and communication through platforms as DLT, markets and brand partners
  • Build strong, high integrity business relationships with key stakeholders, challenging the status quo upwards as well as downwards
  • Steer overall digital transformation communication and change strategy to ensure alignment of organization and culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement transformation approach (structure, skills, etc.)
  • Plans and manages the evaluation or assessment of organizational capabilities & champions the value of new ways of working.
  • Sets direction and leads in the introduction and use of organization design techniques, methodologies, and tools to change and improve organization structures and culture to deliver business outcomes.
  • Plans and leads organization design activities; identifies alternatives, assesses feasibility, and recommends solutions.

Acceleration

  • Drive end-to-end execution of Digital Transformation.
  • Lead results-oriented rigorous project management team, driving accountability and a sense of urgency across organization. Guiding business partners towards achievement of relevant timelines and milestones.
  • Lead documentation and transition to daily operations, ensuring successful integration of digital transformation initiatives
  • Ensure buy-in of top management and manage escalation of conflicts.
  • Build and lead a highly engaged team and provide the platform for long term, cross-functional careers

Head Office

  • Manage Corporate Strategy & Board relationship with all required reporting capabilities & duties
  • Lead and drive the management agenda of the SVP Digital to ensure business success
  • Create, drive and implement a strategic Head office framework for Digital and steer the management cadence with key partners (e.g. DLT, brand, Sales, markets)
  • Translating into a tangible change management, transformational and communication milestones with a clearly defined communication strategy to all relevant touchpoints and interfaces.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced degree in a field related to change, project management, Digital, or IT.
  • 10+ years of in-depth experience related to digital project management, consultancy or similar.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in managing transformation projects
  • Experience working with stakeholders at various seniority levels as well as subject matter experts.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading a team
  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
