About this opportunity
Are you passionate about driving innovation and working on cutting edge 5G and 6G mobile communication solutions? Do you thrive in a flexible working culture, where new ideas are fostered and you are encouraged to develop new skills?
Then join Ericsson in this senior design role, taking substantial technical responsibility in our international projects while driving our long-term data converter strategy!
Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog data converters (ADCs and DACs) are important building blocks in future radio systems. Massive MIMO solutions increase the number of TX/RX channels and ADC/DAC pairs. For this reason, low power consumption and a high degree of integration is critical to reduce the costs and improve the overall performance of the radio products.
This senior analog / mixed signal design engineering position targets the development of data converters within Ericsson and covers the system domain between the digital and analog IP-blocks. The role combines a high-level view on challenges and opportunities with detailed implementation knowledge down to transistor level. This provides the rare opportunity to contribute to roadmap decisions and future-proof data converter architectures that are portable between different process nodes. Distinctive design solutions need to be developed to meet reliability and performance requirements at the same time with the focus on power consumption, area and design portability / scalability.
