Sales Associate Life Sciences, GermanyRemote based: Leipzig region (with min. 50% home-office/ field activity)
GENEWIZ has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Associate. This position will see you conducting sales independently in academic and biotech accounts for GENEWIZ.
Working remotely, you will be supported and developed within a collaborative team of Senior Sales executives. Visiting academic, pharmaceutical and clinical institutions with a focus on Leipzig and south-east Germany region.

What you’ll be doing
Conduct marketing and sales independently in academic and small biotech accounts
Create sales strategy with the support of manager for territory
Achieve defined metrics for sales activity revenue growth in assigned accounts
Conduct vendor shows, lunch and learns in academic and small biotech accounts
Update price lists, create new price lists, and write quotes
Execute CDA’s, service agreements, and other documents
Follow up with new customers and reply to basic incoming price inquiries
Support field reps from the office including; retrieving data from internal systems such as customer relationship management system (CRM/Salesforce) and project data bases (CLIMS)
Prepare reports as needed for territory and account management
Process accounting credit checks for new biotech accounts
Lead generation and data entry into customer relationship management (CRM) system
Qualifications, skills and abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences is required
A background in Molecular Biology is advantageous
Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal are essential
Ability to speak in public and interact with customers with confidence and ease
Commercial experience in sales or customer service role is advantageous
Must be able to work independently while contributing to team goals
Willing and able to travel overnight as required
