About the team
Global Cloud Services (GCS) is the CORE of SAP’s Cloud Strategy. GCS delivers services for cloud infrastructure, lifecycle management, and cloud operations to our SAP lines of business and through them, our external customers.
Within GCS and among other responsibility, the Infrastructure Build organization is globally responsible to fulfill the demand for Infrastructure capacities in the various Data Centers and deliver to the units using the cloud infrastructure. Our key goals are to avoid any data center and infrastructure capacity shortages for cloud and deliver new capacity according to communicated timelines in an efficient way.
The Team of Order Design and Validation (ODV)) has the accountability for the technical build planning including reservations for racks, network capacity and for the provision of complete, error-free MCS build files.

- Support in improvement of reporting and processes
- Achieve results in a globally distributed organization and eagerness to work with people of other cultures
- Ensures technical aspects and dependencies are aligned with the stakeholders of the build validation team
- Ensures that timelines are kept

Role requirements
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics and Data Sciences
- Computer skills: MS Office products
- Language skills: English
- Soft skills: eager to learn and a collaborative team-player attitude, reliability and focus on high quality of work, ability to work in a global, agile and diverse organization, consumer orientation, service-oriented thinking
- Experiences with IT Infrastructer, Datacenter hardware components and practical experience gained through other IT internships would be beneficial.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
