YOUR FUTURE ROLE


Cyber security and compliance with privacy law and industry-specific regulations is of paramount importance to our customers when investing in SAP business applications, platforms and infrastructure in the Cloud. The Security & Compliance Chief Advisor (f/m/d) for MEE acts as a primary point of contact for security and compliance related topics and will be a member of the Sales team assigned to major SAP Cloud engagements with customers. You will demonstrate your competencies for example in the following areas:


  • Managing of complex Sales cycles from security, privacy and compliance perspective in a customer facing role and in close collaboration with the Sales team
  • Data Protection & Privacy in SAP Cloud solutions (GDPR, DSGVO (and related TOMs), BS10012 and the SAP DPMS)
  • Security standards for SAP Cloud solutions (ISAE 3000/ISAE 3402 (SOC 1/SOC 2), ISO 27001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, C5, TISAX etc) and SAPs unified IISMS framework and policies
  • Security and Privacy related frameworks, policies and procedures of SAP
  • Compliance standards for regulated industries such as Financial Services (e.g. MaRisk, KAMaRisk and international standards)
  • Specific requirements for Public Sector customers (e.g. data residency and confidentiality, Bundesbeamtengesetz (BBG) and other country-specific regulations relevant for SAP customers in MEE)


In this position, you will be working closely with other internal teams including Sales, Customer Advisory or Field Legal. You are trusted advisor and subject matter expert for major customers on SAP security and privacy standards for both Cloud and Hybrid solutions and ensure that their security and compliance requirements and related risk assessments are effectively supported by SAP. Internal teams will collaborate with you during complex sales cycles from initial engagements to the finalization of contracts for SAP Cloud solutions to ensure that upcoming topics related to your role are adequately and early addressed and issues are being solved.

If required, you will be liaising with the SAP Privacy, Security and Compliance organizations to determine options for potential customer specific concessions. It is expected that you will be able to finally negotiate such concessions with customers in line with SAP guidelines and in close collaboration with SAP Field Legal. The goal is to ensure that upcoming security, privacy and compliance challenges raised by our customers are effectively handled during Cloud Sales engagements in a timely manner.

On a programmatic level, the Security & Compliance Chief Advisor (f/m/d) shall represent various corporate departments such as SAP Global Security, Data Protection and Privacy Office, Field Legal, Cyber Security Legal and security teams of SAP Cloud LoB’s in DSAG meetings, customer events, conferences etc.

The Security & Compliance Chief Advisor (f/m/d) shall also form and lead the security and compliance community in MEE to ensure a common approach, a clear governance and unified customer facing processes. The individual experiences of the community members from customer engagements shall be collected and consolidated by the Security & Compliance Chief Advisor and provided as input for the improvement of SAPs security and privacy standards and related policies and procedures.

YOURPROFILE


Master’s Degree in a discipline relevant for the position.

8+ years of professional work experience in customer facing roles relevant for the position.

Proven experience in the following domains:

  • Contribution to sales processes for complex Cloud solutions and management of Cloud customers lifecycles in customer facing roles
  • SAP Security and Data Privacy processes, policies and contractual framework
  • Data Privacy regulations (preferably proven by CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or DPO certifications)
  • Data Security standards and technologies (preferably proven by CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC or CISA certifications)
  • Compliance standards and other requirements relevant for our customers in diverse industries, especially in Financial Services and/or the Public sector

You have excellent communication and presentation skills and have been dealing with C-Level executives, security and compliance officers, auditors and lawyers.

You are fluent in English, excellent German language skills are preferred.
