Vice President Global Operations, Professional Services & Customer Support EMEA (m/f/d)

Dentsply Sirona, the global leader in technology solutions for the dental industry, is looking to fill a key executive position to lead our Global Services Operations and EMEA regional professional services for our entire technology solutions portfolio. This individual will be passionate for client success, and is expected to bring an extensive background in the growth and operation at scale in technology services. They are expected to inspire their team to aim for customer success, and to be a close partner and collaborator with our product and business leadership organizations to develop and deliver a world-class customer experience. This individual ideally has built and run professional service and support organizations in mission-critical technology sectors; our clients are healthcare providers, and our solutions are used to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient therapy, so our service organization is expected to support a mission that reflects this level of urgency and operational excellence. Candidates for this position must be experienced business innovators, and are expected to partner closely with our global and EMEA commercial general managers, as well as our key commercial channel partners. Whether building our own direct services portfolio, or enabling our channel partners to deliver a premium customer experience with our product portfolio, this leader is able to envision and design services business strategies that support our growth objectives and align with our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer service delivery for technology services and support
  • Voice of the customer: baseline and monitor customer success metrics and service KPI’s, in collaboration with the ESS Analytics office; advocate for and engage with internal organizations to improve service level and operational execution (supply chain, product, finance, commercial, etc.)
  • Development and global deployment for field service technology platforms
  • Talent acquisition and performance management / development
  • Budget planning and management
  • Development of model contract and service level agreement assets, implementation project plans, and dealer service performance management frameworks
  • Local deployment and commercial coordination for Technology Service Offerings
  • Escalation management and regional commercial organization coordination
  • Solution development, pricing, and implementation for custom technology services, as well as 3rd-party coordination (where necessary) for those solutions
Requirements And Qualifications
  • Advanced level degree (Masters, PhD) in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or engineering-related field of study
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in technology services and technology support (device and/or software), preferably in healthcare / health insurance / MedTech
  • Significant managerial experience, preferably leading teams of 50 employees and more
  • P&L or significant budget responsibilities
  • Advanced leadership experience in customer service and support for technology industry
  • Service portfolio development
  • Direct customer consulting experience and executive-level relationship management
  • Strong employee engagement and development leadership capabilities at scale
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
