As a senior UX Writer, you’ll join us in Berlin as we embark on this exciting chapter in the continued growth of our business. You’ll be writing in English for translation into German and other languages and you’ll have excellent verbal and written English and German skills. You know how to increase engagement and deliver outstanding experiences for customers. Keen to learn and immerse yourself in the products, you’ll be the go-to person for stakeholders. As part of the Content Team, reporting to the Content Lead, you will embed into squads alongside Design, Research, Product and Engineering, ensuring the content is clear, consistent and contextually relevant.
Job responsibilities
- I n this VP-level UX writer role, you will demonstrate your experience and knowledge in the field through your delivery of well-crafted, considered copy that benefits our customers and business.
- You will also go one step further, proactively seeking areas for improvement, by communicating across teams (we call them squads and tribes) to find solutions
- Write and shape end-to-end journeys for dedicated areas of our product
- Take content through reviews with multiple stakeholders, creating alignment around solutions
- Building great stakeholder relationships, you will partner with Design, Product, and Research to create the best outcomes for customers
- Mentor and guiding creatives who require development, as well as understanding how to motivate more junior colleagues, ensuring our established and positive team culture continues
- You’ll help ensure our content maintains our tone of voice and glossary
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You’ve got 6+ years of UX writing experience in apps and online
- You have excellent oral and written English and German skills
- You have strong project management skills, including the ability to manage schedules and deadlines for multiple projects
- Good CX is important to you, and you understand how to balance business needs and customer experience
- Experience of user testing methods such as customer interviews and A/B testing to validate whether work is successful at solving business and user problems
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and you have a strong track record of adapting to change
- Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant experience in UX writing in a banking or financial industry
- Experience working with Product and Marketing teams
- Experience defining standards and processes
- Experience of working in agile teams
