As a Head of KYC Operations (m/f/d) you will be collaborating with technology and process engineering teams to design best in class customer experiences while mitigating any KYC risks
Job responsibilities:
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in KYC with risk mitigation and establishing framework
- Designing, delivering and managing our KYC operations within the business
- Building and leading a high performing business operations function, delivering exceptional service experience on a day by day basis
- Shaping the culture with your colleagues, leading by example, providing feedback and recognition at every opportunity
- Managing the workforce requirements / headcounts and meet the on-going demand
- Understanding and keeping the business aligned with regulatory requirements
- Understanding and researching customer behaviours, sharing knowledge with wider team and peers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 5 years relevant expertise at a senior level in Financial Services banking or another heavily regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, procedures and products
- Relevant industry expertise with KYC and AML at a demonstrable level in KYC Operations in Financial services
- Leadership experience handling large teams and processes
- Highly successful track record of what it takes to build and maintain a strong operational culture as a force driving people, customer & business success
- Joy with working in environment with high ambiguity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German, both written and oral, ability to share our vision and goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience working in a high growth company, start-up environment, adaptable, agile and able to work in a constantly evolving business
- Digitally savvy across different medians
- Experience of directly leading a Banking function with a best place to work culture
contact centre teams - Extensive experience with direct management of a KYC operations department
